On International Women’s Day join this stellar panel in celebrating women in the legal field. Gender parity among new lawyers is nearing 50/50, but the same can not be said for senior positions in private practice, in-house roles, or the judiciary.

Lisa Barazzutti is partner and owner at Barazzutti Strybos and has been in practice for over 20 years. She represents the North East Region as a Deputy Judge in Small Claims Court a division of the Superior Court of Justice.

Dr. Rebecca Jaremko Bromwich is Gowling WLG’s national manager of equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI).  In her varied legal career, she has worked as a lawyer in litigation and law reform, and taught and researched in academia.

Tara Vasdani is the Principal Lawyer and Founder of Remote Law Canada. In 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021, she has been nominated for Canadian Lawyer’s Top 25 Most Influential Lawyers in Canada as a ‘Young Influencer’ and ‘Changemaker’ in the legal industry.
