An Introduction to Understanding Mental Health and Strategies for Collaborative Communication

In your legal practice, it is likely that you or one of your staff is going to come across someone with a mental health challenge. Will you or they know what to do?

This 90-minute webinar will provide legal professionals and their staff with a foundational knowledge of mental health and stigma. Participants will examine the background knowledge and practical skills that can be used in communication with a person who is displaying escalated behaviour or who you suspect may be experiencing a mental health or addiction challenge.
