Read or see almost any of Shakespeare’s play and you will find reference to the law in some form. In fact, Shakespeare seems to refer to lawyers more than any other profession.

So what can the Bard teach lawyers about law and advocacy? Lots. From the quintessential Merchant of Venice (who doesn’t remember Shylock v Antonio?) to Measure for Measure to Othello, Shakespeare addressed both the substance and the morality of the law and lawyers.

In this one hour webinar, lead ezCPD instructor, Marcel Mongeon, will use a variety of references from Shakespeare to discuss topics such as civility, ethical practice, trademarks, boundary disputes, rules of evidence, contract law, and the possibility of humanizing influences in the application of the law.

Entertaining and educational all in one.
